The deprecation of MSSQL have been postponed from 00.08 to 00.09 for a number of reasons, the big ones were software certification on some sites. Those sites are now using and testing the new sqlsrv dbtype, and it will be committed and released to the public when tests are done and new certification assessments scheduled.

The long time between releases is not a missing development, but the consequence of using it on environments that require very strict certification rules, and as long as this project does not aim to follow the "best shiny thing" of the moment, we all behind it are fine with working under the hood and release new versions only when these can be pushed out with confidence.

But it does not makes the project "perfect", I'm well aware there are tons of other ways to use this source code and will be a number of bugs unaddressed just because in our test suite some environments were not taken account for.

You all are very welcome to open or update a ticket if you run into any issue!

Good job everyone, Andrea
