Downloaded and install phpcollab rc2 today. It
recommneded I upgrade to beta3. Looked at setting.php,
version is listed at 2.5.
Changed to 2.5rc2, upgrade notification disappeared.
Not sure if this is intentional for RC..

    no, not intentional.

    Fixed in CVS for 2.5 stable release.
