I just installed phpbttracker+ and added a newly created torrent file.
i connected with my seeding client to my tracker and told other people to do so to after giving them the torrent file.
Now when i look at the stats i see a lot of leechers and me as the one seeder listed for my uploaded torrent but no data gets ever transfered. The peers seem to never connect to each other.
My network is set up to seed bittorrent data - it works everywhere else.
I also asked others to try to seed a file but by using my tracker it never worked.
What additional info do you need and what could have gone wrong?

okay - i waited some hours and then it started transfering with the normal 500kBit/sec

There was a bug that handed out bad IP addresses. However, if you had a recent tarball, this bug should not affect you. What I would need to know is what IP addresses the tracker is sending out. If there's discernible patterns in the IP addresses the bug may have affected you.

What is needed is what IP the clients are getting. The corruption happened from tracker->client, so looking in the admin interface won't do any good as everything will appear to be fine.
Most clients will have a "Peers" dialog/option that will list IP addresses they've received from the tracker.

okay i tried with transmission and ktorrent.
both seem to know the number of seeders and leechers but none of them gives me any additional ip addresses - can you recommend a client that helps you find what is wrong?

It does seem that the tracker is not handing out peers properly. I was given two invalid addresses. What's odd is the version that you've installed should not have this behaviour. Did you upgrade from an old version?
