You're probably right.  Way back when the templates were all set to a
width of 640, but with the transition to smarty I started switching the
tables to a width of 100%.  I haven't done a thorough review of all the
templates to see if any more conversion needs to be done.  I guess I
will ample opportunity to look at this when I take all the literal text
out of the templates for translation purposes. :)
