Ben, I've done some very limited tests and the patch seems to solve the
problem - at least running on PHP 4.0.6 & linux.  I stress that my tests
really have been limited (been a busy week), but without the patch I had
100% failure with register_globals=on, and that behaviour definately
seems to have gone.
