I'll upload modified files in the near future, but a bug has been located in the PhoneticAnalyzer class. A modification is needed to avoid a nasty stack overflow situation.

Syn2Index.Net is a C# command line utility that converts WordNet files to a Lucene-compliant synonym index.

Today mark's the first release of Phonetix.Net, a C# port of the Java-based Phonetix library. Phonetix is a library of phonetic algorithms with an API tie-in to Lucene, the open-source search engine.

This first release contains an implementation of the Soundex, Metaphone and DoubleMetaphone phonemic algorithms. Using Phonetix, similar sounding words will generate keys among them to enable equality.... read more
