Hi list. Fortunately there are some users who spend some time and effort to get problems solved. One if them is Tim (tim...@ci...) who had this problem: > I have a Kyocera Smartphone 6035, and the left-right, up-down, a-b buttons > all work fine - however when I hold them down for any length of time, they > trigger their default function. (IE, if i'm pressing the Calendar button, > it will take me to the calendar.) And only three days later I received: > I may have figured out a workaround.... I've been playing games on it fine > for the last week. I'm running 3.5.3. I installed AfterBurner, and used > the recommended speed settings - afterwards, the buttons stopped > interrupting the games. I've been playing most of my games in PalmBoy, but > It worked fine in Phoinix as well. Another user with a similar problem asked for the 'recommended settings', and Tim wrote: > I'm curious why overclocking the palmOS fixes the problem with the buttons. > > Checked: > 0-ws core > Notify On > Fast Mpx > Fast > Adjust ticks > > Default: 28mhz > Accel Always > Find Norm > Slow never > LCD/n 2 > Lclk/2 24mhz Thank you very much, Tim. I hope this helps other smartphone users! Bodo |
