Preference pane fails to start PostgreSQL on Yosemite startup using the last released version (9.3.2). Have not had time to investigate, but there were no apparent error messages.
New install or upgraded from a previous version of OS X? We haven't seen this with installs where PG was installed on Mavericks and upgraded to Yosemite. I am installing a clean Yosemite install right now to test it that way and identify the problem..

Just to be clear, the problem is that PostgreSQL fails to automatically start from boot when ‘Auto-start service from boot” is selected. I just went through the boot logs and could not find any errors reported. It starts just fine manually.
ProductName: Mac OS X
ProductVersion: 10.10.1
BuildVersion: 14B25
Server 4 (Build 14S333)
While I was looking at the code, I could not find any reference to launchd scripts, but I did find StartupItems. I think StartupItems are no longer functioning with Yosemite.

Yosemite was upgraded from Mavericks.

Found it. Think I can reproduce it. Will try to fix it this week
