Port forwarding. If it's possible, pfilter could really use port forwarding from the external interface to protected hosts. For example
FORWARD tcp ssh 192.168.1.1 ssh
Would forward all incoming connections to port 22 on the external interface to port 22 on one of the protected hosts.
Sorry to use syntax as an example.
