Welcome to The Periwinkle Project!

Thanks for your interest in the project. We are currently in the early phases of project planning and development. Here's what we know so far:

• It will include modules for Personal Finance and Getting Things Done
• It will be a web-based re-implementation of the Integrated Financial System (IFS 0.21)
• It will be based on JBoss Application Server 7.x and should run with any supported database
• It will probably take about a year to get the first release up and running
• It will include support for multiple languages out of the box.

We have a lot of code to draw upon from IFS 0.21, but it will take some time to re-implement all of the frameworks, make the sample data scenario more portable, and rebuild the user interface.

• Documentation Maintenance
• Language Maintainers
• Module Design, Implementation, and Testing
• Promoting to end users
• Better graphic design than we can do on our own
