Peppermint EOL

Peppermint OS

Peppermint OS End of life.

As you may already know Peppermint is based on Debian and Devuan, Linux distributions

The Peppermint Team does not modify the core system/s of these two bases.
This means that we do not modify kernels or change the over all core code that make up these base OS’s

Peppermint ships with xfce as the desktop environment and nemo as the default file manager.
We do have our own apt repos but it is used for minimum packages as the community votes on what should be available.

All of our code base configuration is not even compiled and packaged this is because of the way we have chosen to deploy our pipeline, it is all open and available on CodeBerg.

Anything we build “Peppermint Updated” is continuously updated we push updates on the regular as needed and anyone can follow these updates that we do on CodeBerg, These things will carry over from base version to base version.

In terms of “System Updates” this will follow the EOL that Debian and Devuan have
