The default application shortcut key for Xfce Whisker Menu is the Left Windows/Super Key. This interferes with any other application shortcuts that use the super key, as it opens whatever you selected and the Whisker menu at the same time as it stands at the moment. Also, this might cause confusion when a user first presses the super key before the next selected key. Here is an example:
Xfce display settings is set by default to Super + P, so those 2 keys pressed brings up Display Settings and the Whisker Menu. If a person is slow to press both keys, for instance if they look down to locate and press the super key, then that might be cause for confusion.
Maybe Whisker Menu can be linked to something like Super + Spacebar, etc.?

We can do that I don't see an issue with thanks for the idea will get that in the pipeline
on some distros i use Super+z when i run it in a vm because it tries to trigger both vm and host menus
