First of all, thank you for continuing the PeppermIntOS project.
I will ask my question here too...
The project is very nice and useful. I'm interested in installing the Devuan edition, but I would like to know if it is possible to install Texmacs on Peppermint Devuan. There is a way to install it on Debian with or without a repository. But would Devuan be compatible with a Debian package?
Thank you to everyone who dedicated some attention to my question.
Best wishes
Arturo

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
In general, Devuan is really a replica of Debian, except of for the init system.
It does not use SystemD. For the most part this should not affect your packages unless the package itself depends on SystemD.
In the case of Texmacs it does not seem like its using systemd for anything. becuase
According to this link it look like you can just download the tar files extract and use the package.
So to answer you question I don't see any reason it should not work on Pep Devuan other than the only .deb they have available is for Debian 10. We are up to Debian12 with both our Builds Pep Debian and Devuan.
Hope this helps
