hallo everyone,i have just installed peppermint on a packard bell laptop with an atom and 2 gb ram
the problem is on keyboard i hit some letters and instead of letters i see numpers i have to push the fn button to appear a letter properly,what can i do?(my english are not helping me to describe the issue better)

It is a BIOS setting. I'm not familiar with Packard Bell equipment.
With a Dell Latitude laptop it is found under -> POST Behaviour -> Keypad (Embedded) -> Then choose the Enable the Fn Key Only, option not the By Numlock , then click Apply (to save this setting.

thank you for your reply i went to bios and i found two options special keys and function keys i tried both with no succes
dear friends no need for reply i found this version of peppermint too unfriendly for new users and i have download the mint xfce which is much easier to find repositories etch and worked perfect for me
