Hello All
i have problems to install a hp p1102 usb printer after i have installed the system.
installation of hplip does not work.
so i wonder if connecting the printer when installing the system would install it automatically?

HP support: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-pro-p1102-printer-series/4110394 recommends HPLIP.
See screenshot of Synaptic Package Manager, HPLIP and its dependences are in our repos.
This guide: https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/install/install/index is the HP walk-through, I've never used a HP printer, its install script seems to be similar to my old Samsung AIO printer.
But HP seems to require a discovery and configuring of printer with pictorial guide.
Good luck.
thank you Cavy
