    Hi All. I am a somewhat long time user of Peppermint, since 9 original, and recently made the switch to the new OS back in April. After an adjustment period of switching to Debian, this new OS has been amazing!

    I am writing though because I am looking for the checksum text file for the original iso. I had it originally but I accidentally deleted it while cleaning out old docs. Currently only the text file for the most recent iso is available for download, so the checksum values do not match. Can you direct me to where I can find the sha512 value for the original release?

    Thanks again. Keep up the amazing work.

    I have the checksum for the 22-02-02 release, is that what you are looking for?

      Hi Alynur,

      Thank you for providing that. I ran the checksum command in terminal, unfortunately it does not match what is on the pdf.

      5be7f73a83b1a3bdad62312bc44a8cd7abb59a68485ebdb7368808c4c77f35537277eafcb055e4cceb4bc45c2554fdbdbec42aba18e326d693af07f36022354e PeppermintOS-amd64.iso

      That is my error. Instead of asking for the checksum for the 2-2 release, I should have asked for the checksum for the 2-19 release. If anyone can confirm that is the correct CheckSum for the 2-19-2022 release, I would appreciate it.

      Again thank you for your help.

    I think the local copy I have is from the DL server.
    The time in the datestamp in the ISO looks correct for when we built it.

    My output from sha512sum ./ISOs/PeppermintOS-amd64-2022-02-19.iso is
    ~~~
    5be7f73a83b1a3bdad62312bc44a8cd7abb59a68485ebdb7368808c4c77f35537277eafcb055e4cceb4bc45c2554fdbdbec42aba18e326d693af07f36022354e
    ~~~
    And it appears to match what you have.
