    Thanks for the tip Mintspider. I also have to remote in to a work desktop and I currently use Anydesk. Have you used Anydesk before and can you provide some comparison notes on functionality? I will look into DWservice.

      I have used Anydesk.
      Functionality is quite similar, but I believe DWService to be easier to use.
      First up, it is web-based. I am able to remote straight to my home Linux machines from my work Windows 10 laptop without installing anything.
      DWService's agents are open source. https://github.com/AG7GN/dwservice
      It may come down to personal choice.

    Additional: Linux Saloon is currently testing Slackware, which I have installed on a testing partition and have updated.
    Still need to learn how to add repos and software.
    Since DWService is website and agent based I used it for remote access:
