Hello everyone, the question is, will more working shells be added by type lxqt .Because the xfce has become very demanding, maybe there will be something like a version for weak computers??

Hi KaramelWay,
The short answer is no.
Depending on how good (the strength of) your computers Ethernet connection, you could use the Mini, (our Netinstal iso) and perform a bare-bones non desktop install and construct a striped down environment to suit its and your actual needs. Or experiment with the various Window Managers.
But beware, my 2007 Lenovo N200 Notebook, Ethernet connections was 100Mb/s and 2GB of RAM, took over 24hrs to install using the Debian Netinstaller circa 2012. Only to fail for xyz reasons?
Historically LXDE was considered the least resource hungry desktop, followed by closely by Xfce and MATE. While Cinnamon, being lighter than KDE and Gnome. All these environments are installable from the Mni iso.
If internet usage plays a key role in your life, an open Firefox browser will consume up to 1.6GB of RAM, according to htop measuring all processing tasks in operation, as I reply to you. Midori is a lightweight browser but very basic. There are others found in the repos.
I do not know how you have equipped your Xfce. In its minimal state, with no apps installed and what tools are available, not opened; the systems idles @400MB to 500MB.
These are some ideas for you. But with elderly equipment, it is a suck it and see what works, it will be a minefield with no right or wrong answer.
Good luck.
