#45 Major Slowdown on ATI Radeon 8500 Since v1.14

Graphics Card:ATI Radeon 8500DV w/Catalyst 3.6
Drivers.
System: Windows 2k SP4 on an AthlonXP 1800+ w/512
PC2100 DDR.

Peops used to ran just about full speed in 640x480
32bpp with all of the goodies and the only fix I had
running was the ePSXe 1.5.2 odd/even bit hack. After
the release of Peops GPU v1.14 performace has crawled
when in 32bpp but is just about the same as before in
16bpp. This problem has not been fixed in v1.15, but I
suppose I should've said something earlier.

Actually, scratch that, I have to apologize...
I decided to do some troubleshooting and downloaded the old
v1.12 plugin and am experiencing the same issue.
ATI's Last 2 if not 3 releases of the Catalyst drivers have
been troublesome and problematic. Even after contacting
their tech support for another issue involving a slowdown in
direct draw, they just redirected to their general FAQ which
was not at all helpful...
