Firstly I want to thank you for creating a very useful application.
A week ago my wife bought two of these pedometers from Lidls, she then gave one to a friend. My issue is that the software is Windows only. Both my wife and the friend use Linux. This is where the Pedometer Log project saves the day.
The problem is that our friend Frank who has the second pedometer is not very skilled when it comes to Linux admin and would not be able to install the applications required.
To solve this I made a Debian/Ubuntu package that he could use.
Changes the database backend to SQLite from MySQL.
Dynamically creates SQL database, if needed in, the users home folder (multi user).
Adds scripts and files to create Debian/Ubuntu packages for i386 and amd64.
a. My repository still lists the project as Pedometer Log.
b. I can supply DEB files if needed.
c. These DEB files can also be converted to RPM packages using alien.
If you have any comments or issues please let me know.
Thanks again for a great project.
Kind regards,
Shaun

I would not know where to start to make up a package for Debian/Ubuntu or even Fedora for that matter - and I've been using Fedora for over 10 years now;
I will put a pointer to your GitHub repository in the README file to highlight the fact it exists next time I update the file if you wish.

Hi Mike,
I have uploaded the packages including RPMs derived from the Debian packages. The RPMs are untested.
I would appreciate it if you could link to:

I will try and keep the pages updated.
Thank you,
