is there an easy way to add folders to an archive
and keep all the files in the subfolders they belong in
to keep the folder structure
without adding them all to the root?

i read the pdf and it seems the only way
is to take the subfolders
and add them to the ones above them
then add them all to the main ones...

i have many web pages i'd like to save
in dozens of subfolders
and it seems like it'll take a long time this way

is there anything you can do to make it easier?
like right clicking on a folder to add
and keeping the directory structure intact?
or maybe i missed something?

Hello, from current release 6.9.0 PeaZip can add files in archive's subfolders, it is no longer limited to addin to the root as in previous versions.

As alternative, you can directly add to an existing archive (selecting the existing archive as output) the directory structure containing your files, in this way the nesting will be replicated inside the archive, and update options can be helpful for a more fine grained work - add overwrite existing files regadless the file date, update will overwite only older files, freshen will update only files already in archive, sync will update existing files and delete files no longer existing on disk.
