As ticket #14 mentions, PeaZip uses a custom drag-and-drop for various reasons. The only thing really keeping me from using PeaZip normally is just that. The inability to drag-and-drop to folders in explorer windows is very unintuitive.
A non-default option to use the default Windows drag-and-drop would fix this.
I have the same issue. I like peazip, and i would use it, if i could use drag-and-drop in totalcommander.
I found that drag-drop from peazip archive to windows explorer is working but the files are not visible.
When I hit F5 in windows explorer after drag-drop the files become visible.
So please add an automatically refresh call to windows explorer after peazip drag-drop.
Using Peazip 5.5.0 on Windows 7 Enterprise 64

That's another issue, though - I'd recommend opening another ticket for that.
If it wasn't clear, not supporting the normal Windows API's drag-and-drop means not being able to drag files from PeaZip and drop them in folders in Explorer. This is hugely inconvenient, and still (a year later!) the main reason I'm not using PeaZip.
But im able to drag-drop from peazip 5.5.3 zip archive to windows explorer.
Are your sure your problem still exists with peazip 5.5.3?
Yep, the problem still exists, even with the current newest version. The problem isn't that you can't drag-and-drop from PeaZip to an explorer window, but that you can't (for example) drag-and-drop from PeaZip to a folder in an explorer window. If you do, the extraction is just performed to the folder tht is currently open in the explorer window.
I am facing same issue with PeaZip back on Windows 7, on Windows 10 with latest version when I drag and drop to folder, it doesn't automatically export the files, but directory selection pop-up window appear.... Again uninstall, will try in some other time again.
why is this not a thing yet?!
Hello, from version 6.8.0 PeaZip is fully integrated with Windows drag and drop API.
In later releases the mechanism is improved using PeaZip's custom drag and drop implementation to try to detect the right path where the data should be extracted, in order to save time over standard drag and drop implementation - which saves data to system's temp and then move it to the desired path (taking twice the time if the data needs to be re-written to another partition).
