As a genuine mac User i only have PPC hardware .
So make the code compilable on PPC & maybe only emulate what
is really neccesarry .
You might wonder why emulate a PPC on a PPC while ;
a) You can use OS X directly
b) You can use Mac-on-Linux in Linux
But what if ;
a) You don't use Linux but BSD
b) You want to emulate an older version of OS X
( Like the early DP's or Mac OS X Server 1.x - non Aqua OS X
versions)
c) You like something better then classic for Mac OS 9
( & 8.6 - 8.1 or earlier , you need Rom image support to use a Mac
rom copy )

A PowerPC emulation would be a little redundant on a PPC. Virtualization, however, could be done better. It would take a whole lot of the load off of the Processor for it to do more intensive tasks, like emulating the graphics card. SheepShaver does this with its PowerPC builds.
