Since I switched to Windows 11, my HyperX microphone works but the sound is very low. I installed Peace, and it worked perfectly on Windows 10! But since moving to Windows 11, it no longer works. I've tried several fixes, but my friends still can't hear me.
On Sunday, I switched back to Windows 10 and it worked again. Today, I tried again on Windows 11, and it's still not working. I don’t know what else to do—would it be possible to get some help?
Thank you in advance, and have a great day! Sorry for my translation, I'm French.

Have you tried all "Install as" settings (the APO techniques) in the Device Selector / Configurator? Depending on which Equalizer APO version you have installed this setting is invoked after clicking the "Ok" button either with or without a computer restart.
Also, when using a mic it could be that the app/game is using this mic in exclusive mode, preventing other apps from recording/streaming. Unfortunately this exclusive mode (called WASAPI Exclusive) doesn't allow any Audio Processing Objects like Equalizer APO (so Peace won't work). But it's a matter of unchecking the exclusive mode check boxes as shown in the attached screen shot.
Regarding the new 21H2 update, does the software work?
When talking about Equalizer APO you may need to try the "Install as" settings again. Also, it could be that Windows checks those exclusive check boxes again after a Windows update (when it includes some mic device drivers).
Another (annoying) thing is that sometimes an older Equalizer APO does work like 1.2.1. I don't understand why this is the case. Also, the recent 24H2 Windows update is one which is particularly bad. I'm fortunate as 24H2 does work on my laptop together with Equalizer APO. I do have some other issues with 24H2. Talking about that, some Peace user had a weird 24H2 issue: flickering of the Peace windows. But this isn't related to Equalizer APO not working on some audio device.

For now, I'll stick with the base version of Windows 11, while waiting for Peace to work 100%. I'll try again another day, and if I run into a new issue, I'll make a new post. I'm not taking the risk right now and ending up with a non-working microphone.

Thank you very much, it works!
Great to hear.
Regarding the new 21H2 update, does the software work? Because when I installed it, I did the same procedure and it didn't work.

Are you advising me to wait a bit before installing 21H2? I just reverted to 21H1 and it's working again now.

Updates like 23H2 and 24H2 seem to have issues. Myself I had no issues with 21H2. Good to hear that 21H2 now works for you too.
For now, I'll stick with the base version of Windows 11, while waiting for Peace to work 100%. I'll try again another day, and if I run into a new issue, I'll make a new post. I'm not taking the risk right now and ending up with a non-working microphone.
Indeed the best strategy. Good luck.
