This message occurred when I pressed CTRL+SHIFT'+ALT+RIGHT ARROW to control the balance:

    And Peace then was closed.

Is this happening with the lastest version 1.5.2.0? If not which version?

Btw your image aren't links so not easy clickable.

I found the issue and the new version Peace won't crash on it. But unfortunately I don't understand why it happens when using the balance hotkeys. It should happen when the interfaces are built up so before the main interface is shown on screen.

Did this occur only once? Or several times? And was your computer busy doing something? And did you press the balance keys when the interface was on screen? Have you set up Peace to start when your computer is started?

< It should happen when the interfaces are built up so before the main interface is shown on screen.

May be the interface was open or going to be open (if one can use that control during that time) when I used the balance control, cannot remember, may be there is a connetion.

    <Did this occur only once?

I pressed a few times those keys and then it occurred some times, if I remember it right. But never before, was the first time(s). So several times in that bunch.

< And was your computer busy doing something?
Sorry, I do not remember anymore, may be I was synchronizing. But my cheap trash Notebook Acer Aspire E 15 does not work very well, is slow. So the CPU will have run with about 30, 40 % or so.

<And did you press the balance keys when the interface was on screen?
Well, if I only I could remember it, may be, I really do not know anymore.

Now the balance control works like always / before, correct. ...ah, yes, after clicking the Peace icon (to open the interface) and while the interface is opening I pressed those keys again and the error happened (while it was start opening, lasts about 10, 20 seconds until it is open from clicking), Peace crashed. And, very strange, usually Peace behaves very sluggish here (not when I use the shortcuts to envoke a profile use the balance control and the interface is closed). Now, after the crash the interface is open by clicking the Peace icon, immediately, odd, very fast. But pressing then "Settings" lasts about 10 seconds to show the settings. And closing (with ESC) the settings window and waiting for the main interface to show takes about 5, 10 secondes or more.

When the interface is open and I press the control shortcut keys no error occurrs.

<Have you set up Peace to start when your computer is started?
Yes, but it never does work. Just wanted to verify that but I cannot find that option anymore.

I've tried to bypass the issue. You might download and test the beta Peace version 1.5.3.0. And this beta also contains the new sounds and volume control when switching configurations by hotkey. You can discuss your findings on this sound subject in the other post of us.

Many thanks! Very fast! Downlaoded the beta. Alright, so I will go on writing and the other thread.

Does the beta 1.5.3.0 still have issues on the pressing of the hotkey balance keys?

Oops, sorry, did I forget to mention it? Just tried, yes, works, no problem. But strangely with the current version (at the moment) neither, works as well. I noticed the problem the first time yesterday...or the day before, so obviously the balance control had worked well until that day.

So because the balance control of the current verion works now the beta version might work as well now although still having the error.

Thanks Martin for the info. I guess you notice me when the issue occurs again. Btw we still don't know what the problem of the interface very slowly running / popping up on your laptop.

Yes, of course, if any problem occurrs I will tell you.

Yes, may be we will never get to know why Peace runs so sluggish here (and sometimes it runs fast for a short moment).
