PerceptualDiff is an image comparison utility that compares two images using a perceptual metric. That is, it uses a computational model of the human visual system to determine if two images are visually different, so minor changes in pixels are ignored.

  • amazing application! very good to be used on automation scripts like auto-load savegames; mind creating a .deb package for ubuntu? [offtopic: interesting there is only upvoters comments; I understand downvoters are exercising their freedom of opinion, even if it is non-sense (they dont dare commenting). Downvoters should be obliged to comment so their complaints could be used to improve the project or just revalidated and the vote be possibly set to be ignored by other users votes, increasing back the rating of the project...]
  • One of a kind library out there ! Anything even remotely as powerful is abt 25 times its size !
