#2 iref streams error with PDFs using Acrobat 6 features

Hello,

I really love your PDF MErge Tool, but have had increasing problems with PDFs we get from other people that incorporate features from Acrobat version 6 which results in this error:

"Cannot handle iref streams. The current implemenatation of PDFsharp cannot handle this PDF feature introduced with Acrobat 6."

I tried to replace the PdfSharp.dll with the latest 1.3.2 version from here:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfsharp/

which is supposed to be able to read the latest acrobat version, but then I get this error:

"Cannot load file or assembly 'PdfSharp, Version=1.2.1269.0"

Any chance you could update your PDF Merge Tool to work with the latest PdfSharp.dll?

If it isn't possible or is too much work, then many thanks for the tool anyway!

Our users just love the simplicity of this tool, and I have had many, many inquiries about the possibility of this being fixed. I also really love PortableApps like this, so please, please, please, would it be possible to update your most excellent tool to work with the latest version of PDFSharp.dll

Oh my gosh!

I just found the new version you are apparently working on that replaces PDFSharp.dll with iTextSharp.dll... yay!

But, I tried to download the files, and when I try to launch it I get an error:

"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."

this is on a Windows 7 64-bit machine.

I then tried to run it on an old 32-bit XP box, but it opened in a DOS cmd-prompt window with a different got a different '16-bit DOS subsystem' error...

I'd love to test this for you!

Ok, figured out that I had to download the 'snapshot', so now I have a working version...

I'll get our users to test it out and report any bugs/issues back here.

korivin, I tried to reply to your email but I got a bounce...

Anyway, for anyone interested, just go to the code section here:

Then click the 'Download Snapshot' link/button (toward the top right, in the grey bar), and it will generate a new snapshot for you...
