Hi, Sorry for the late reply... and also if someone has already replied but I missed it. It sounds like you want to install a functioning pdfedit - is that right? Please note: 1. It seems that you are trying to build the pdfedit "tools" package. This does not build pdfedit. It includes an "experimental windows gui", which I think simply displays a pdf; it does not edit it. 2. I think there is a pre-built windows package of the pdfedit "tools", anyway; you shouldn't need to built it. 3. To actually install pdfedit on windows, you need Cygwin. For most people I'd recommend using Linux instead, since Cygwin doesn't integrate with Windows particularly well, and Linux is just better :) BUT I understand there is currently work on a proper Windows version of pdfedit, at http://code.google.com/p/pdfeditor/ 4. If you don't really want to edit the content of pdf pages, but want to combine pdfs, rearrange, delete, rotate and crop pages, there are several Linux programs that you may find are more suitable than pdfedit. I don't think any of them are easily installable on Windows yet.
