PDF Toolbox is a free, MIT-licensed offline Windows application by ALMARFELD. Merge, split, extract, rotate and organize PDF pages; convert JPG/PNG/BMP to PDF or PDF pages to PNG/JPEG; edit document metadata in a copy; add watermarks and page numbers. Protect with PDF AES-128 or unlock with valid credentials. Lossless compression saves only smaller results.
Sources are not overwritten. Page operations can discard advanced document structures. Signed PDFs are not rewritten; page-editing tools refuse interactive forms. Metadata editing is not secure sanitization. No OCR, general batch processing or direct PDF text editing.
v1.0.0: Windows 10 version 2004+ or Windows 11, x64. Self-contained portable ZIP; run PDFToolbox.exe. No separate .NET or WebView2 required. Windows 10 has not been independently tested. No accounts, uploads, telemetry or automatic downloads. The executable is not Authenticode signed.
