Hi Folks,

Love your programs. Recently, I find that all hotsyncs to
my Clie NX70 crash even when hotsync is set to do
nothing at all. The only way to prevent this is to remove
the PDesk conduit. The hotsync stalls with the following
status: Synchronizing Intellisync Memos on the PC, and
Synchronizing Progect on the Clie. Intellisync Lite (from
Pumatech) and hotsync are set to do nothing. I have to
end the process with Windows Task Manager, and reset
the handheld, to get out of the stall.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything, including
going back to earlier versions (beta 3 and Progect 0.25),
but the problem persists. I believe it started when I went
from beta 3 to beta 4 or from Progect 02? to 029, but I
don't recall exactly. I thought if I fiddled with things,
uninstall, reinstall, clean things up, etc., I could resolve
it, but I'm stumped. In the meantime, I have moved
projects from the Clie to the dekstop using MSImport,
and renaming the file on the desktop from .pdb to .pdk.
but that's risky, I presume.

Any ideas what I might do to clean things up. Presumably
somethings corrupt somewhere and needs replaced, in
the registry perhaps? I'm not a programmer, but can do
things safely in the registry, etc., with proper direction.
Any other information you'd like from me?

Thanks,

Bego Gerber

Here's some new info. I removed PDesk and all its folders and
reinstalled afresh on the PC. "Do Nothing" hotsyncs worked
twice in a row. A hotsync with Progect data being the only
things synced, worked. An immediate resync, without opening
any files on the PC or handheld, failed as described above. The
synclog.txt preceding the failed sync is attached. Sorry I
didn't save the syncmgr.log. I notice the olg ends with
"Unregistering conduit : OK". Could that be the problem?
    Shouldn't the conduit stay registered?

    Thanks again,
