#779 Kile shows empty contents when opening file from PCManFM

No

Whenever I open a tex file from PCManFM (1.1.0), Kile (2.1.3) opens it properly (and launches as it should if it was not already running), but the editor shows an empty file. The same thing happens when I use the "Open Recent" shortcut, but if I go through the trouble of opening the file with Ctrl+O, everything is fine.

I don't run into that problem either when I use a different file manager (e.g. Dolphin), or when I try to open files that open with different programs (e.g. Kate).

My OS is Lubuntu Raring Ringtail (13.04).

Check this behavior with version libfm version 1.1.2.2, please, I hope it was fixed in release 1.1.2 yet. You can also try lubuntu-dev PPA for latest GIT versions.
Comment here please, if it is fixed for you in newer version or it is another issue not fixed yet.
    Thank you very much.

And also I cannot reproduce your problem with pcmanfm 1.1.0 and kile 2.1.0, it opens any .tex file just fine showing its contents in editor.

    Look here:

It seems people found the bug and fix for it.
