- start X with your screen in landscape orientation
- use pcmanfm to manage your desktop
- use xrandr (or a gui like arandr) to rotate your screen 90 degrees
- the wallpaper will not be stretched correctly (see after_rotation.jpg)
- kill pcmanfm and restart it
- the wallpaper will be stretched correctly (see after_restart.jpg)
Fixing this simpler case may completely fix 3614780 - I'm not sure.

As discussed on IRC I'm adding a comment to this bug. If LXDE is used in the VirtualBox the pcmanfm won't redraw a resized wallpaper after the size of the VirtualBox window changes. Selecting a different wallpaper triggers the redraw and this time the size of the wallpaper is correct.
We hope this issue is completely fixed in the Git repository recently.
Check it out when it's possible for you and if the bug still exists then reopen the report, please.
Thank you very much.
