Copy and paste a symlink - it will work as expected.
But copy and paste a folder containing a symlink - the copied folder will include a copy of the target of the symlink, not a copy of the symlink itself.
The same problem also occurs if you copy by drag and drop.

I am using the current version from git, but I think this problem has been around for a long time.
