The old problem from https://sourceforge.net/p/pcmanfm/bugs/897/ reappeared in PCManFM 1.3.1

System: Raspberry Pi's running raspbian buster and stretch with PCManFM 1.3.1 and 1.2.5 respectively

To reproduce:

  1. Browser a SMB network share with the PCManFM 1.3.1
  2. Notice any filename that contains SPACE appears as '%20'
  3. Mount the same network share with entry in the fstab
  4. Browse that same network share in the local mount point
  5. Notice any filename that contains SPACE appears as SPACE correctly

Note: The symptom appears on PCManFM 1.3.1 only, PCManFM 1.2.5 is working correctly.

Update: This symptom seems to be caused by RPI Foundation. See https://www.raspberrypi.org/blog/a-new-raspbian-update/#comment-1521860

I will update this post when the fixes are applied.

Oh, nice to hear that is not a PCManFM issue. Thank you, waiting for your updates.
