Category: None Group: Data File Tag Pages >Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Eddy Anthony (eddyanthony) >Assigned to: Martijn Verburg (karianna) Summary: SPECIALTYKNOWN tag entry incorrect Initial Comment: [BUG] [DOC] Version 5.7.8 In the Docs it states: (Snip) "What it does: Adds the numeric value given to the number of specialty school spells know by the spell caster, if not listed, the default value is 0 Example: SPECIALTYKNOWN:1,1,1 The class knows 1 0th level specialty spells, 2 1st level specialty spells and 1 3rd level specialty spells. (Snip) Per the SRD - Basic Character Classes II (Paladin through Multiclassed Characters, the Example is wrong. (Snip) The specialist can prepare one additional spell (of the school selected as a specialty) per spell level each day. (Snip) I believe that it should state something like: "What it does: Adds the numeric value given to the number of specialty school spells that the class can cast per spell level. If not listed, the default value is 0 Example: SPECIALTYKNOWN:1 The specialist can prepare one additional spell (of the school selected as a specialty) per spell level each day." As it is documented it crashes on loading a class file that has it coded this way. In addition, if you enter on a sub class file "SPECIALTYKNOWN:2", the program shows it on the character as having +1 and not as a +2. [FREQ] Would it be possible to have this tag work with other values besides the standard +1? reported by: Craig Andrews <nee...@ya...> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Martijn Verburg (karianna) Date: 2005-12-01 03:06 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=252169 Doc changes made, code freq covered by literally hundreds of code freqs around spell casting - K ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=513777&aid=1058589&group_id=66204 |
