Can we get permission. When we do I'll organize an effort to code this up. --- Date: 2004-09-09 04:16:01 BST Sender: michaelbeaver I will confirm that we are OK for the OGC of UA with Andy. --- Date: 2004-12-21 02:21:32 GMT Sender: eddyanthony Hi Andy, My name is Paul King. I am the Publisher Liaison second for PCGen. Mike Beaver, whom I believe you have talked to before, is the Silverback in charge of the PL team. Mike is currently away from his computer, and asked me to ask you these questions concerning the SRDs and other OGC related material published by WotC. 1) When PCGen was d20 STL compliant, we were asked by WotC, for the benefit section of feats found in the SRDs, to supply "See text". Does this request still stand now that we are only OGC compliant? 2) Does PCGen have WotC's permission to create datasets for OGC material found in Unearthed Arcana and d20 Weapons Locker? PCGen's policy is to ask the publisher for permission before distributing a dataset, which is why we are asking. Thank you for your time. Paul W. King From: Smith, Andrew [mailto:And...@wi...] Sent: Thursday, December 16, 2004 7:20 PM To: pau...@ve... Subject: RE: SRD and OGC questions relating to PCGen Hello Paul, I apologize for the delay in replying to your e-mail (under a month, that's good for me). 1) I don't see any reason you can't supply the full Open Content text if you would like to. 2) Yes, you have permission to create data sets of the Open Content portions of these products. Please take careful note of the terms that are not Open Content in Unearthed Arcana. Andy Smith Asst Brand Manager, RPGs Wizards of the Coast, Inc --- Date: 2005-01-20 20:41:29 GMT Sender: kingpaul I've started this set. My work can be found at Experimental. --- Date: 2006-08-20 02:48:10 BST Sender: frank_kliewe I'm putting this on the roadmap for 6.0. That doesn't really mean it has to stay there. The recent Code implementation of Substitution classes should already bring us a step forward here. This has been requested quite a bit in the past and it would be good if we could include at least a partial dataset for this source in the 5.12 release. --- Date: 2006-08-23 03:38:53 BST Sender: tir-gwaith I've got a character using an alternate Paladin stuff, so I'm going to experiment around with making the RSRD core classes .MOD friendly for the different UA options. Everything basically will be going into hidden feats for now (since the Ability object isn't available yet). For those with BONUS statements, I'm looking at doing two hidden feats - one holder, and another with the different BONUSes for class specific, so all of these become available to multiple sources, and the hidden tracker feat can be .MODed out for alternate abilities. Date: 2007-08-28 08:55:25 BST Sender: amaitland Ability objects are now available. Would like assistance with setting them up? -AM was:Original Tracker - https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=1023895&group_id=25576&atid=679269 > [WotC] Unearthed Arcana > ----------------------- > > Key: NEWSOURCE-20 > URL: http://jira.pcgen.org/browse/NEWSOURCE-20 > Project: New Source > Issue Type: New Data Source Development > Reporter: Andrew Maitland > > Original Tracker - https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=1023895&group_id=25576&atid=679269 > History > ---------- > Date: 2004-09-07 19:40:52 BST > Sender: eddyanthony > Beaver, this will continue to come up on the boards.
