[ http://jira.pcgen.org/browse/CODE-472?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=11706#action_11706 ] Larry Franz commented on CODE-472: ---------------------------------- Unless 50' means under 50', in which case it's ok. But then for a kobold warrior 1 level, I'm getting +1 for this when the ranged block says +3. I assumed that -2 was for the range penalty, and that 50' meant 50' and beyond. > Ranged weapons always shows 30' ranges in character sheet tab and exported character sheets > -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: CODE-472 > URL: http://jira.pcgen.org/browse/CODE-472 > Project: Code > Issue Type: Bug > Affects Versions: 5.16.4 > Environment: windows vista > Reporter: Larry Franz > > Weapon ranges always include a 30' column in the character sheet, even if this has nothing to do with the weapon's range. To duplicate, choose a new npc, (I tried kobold and hobgoblin), I selected warrior class level 1 (doubt this matters). Equip with a spear and a sling, both as carried (one at a time still has the problem, just choosing 2 to show different aspects of the problem). On the characteer sheet tab, it shows the ranges for spear as 20, 30, 40, and 60 and 80. The range increment is 20. It calcs the to hit for both 30 and 40 the same, as 0. In my case, 20' was at +2, so this is correct, just odd that 30' is showing up. > For the sling, it's showing 30, 50, 100, 150, and 200. The range increment for a sling is 50. It calculates the actual to hit correctly for 30 and 50 at +2 in my case. > I tried a light crossbow, and 30' showed up again, even though the increment is 80'. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://jira.pcgen.org/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira |
