Category: Classes List File Incorrect Information Group: For 5.12 >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 7 Private: No Submitted By: Eddy Anthony (eddyanthony) Assigned to: Eddy Anthony (eddyanthony) Summary: [ALL] Update MAXLEVEL class tag usage Initial Comment: The MAXLEVEL tag behavour has been changed. If a class had no MAXLEVEL tag the code assumed it was 20. This caused a problem with advancing some monsters which can have monster levels higher than 20. The tag has been updated so that MAXLEVEL:NOLIMIT can be used to specify if a class has no level limit. This is also the default if the tag is not present in the class. The base classes with no MAXLEVEL tag (bacause it assumed 20) will need to be updated to have MAXLEVEL:20 tags added. The Epic .MODs can be changed from MAXLEVEL:100 to MAXLEVEL:NOLIMIT Although the code will assume MAXLEVEL:NOLIMIT if not present the data team is making it a data standard to require all classes to have a MAXLEVEL tag for clearity. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Eddy Anthony (eddyanthony) Date: 2007-05-30 17:08 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=886893 Originator: YES Rest of the sets done at SVN 3088, merged to trunk at 3089 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Eddy Anthony (eddyanthony) Date: 2007-05-30 15:18 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=886893 Originator: YES SRD & RSRD done at SVN 3086, merged to trunk at 3087 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Martijn Verburg (karianna) Date: 2007-05-24 08:48 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=252169 Originator: NO Is this a prettylst issue that could be assigned to gawaine in that case? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Andrew McDougall (tir-gwaith) Date: 2007-04-20 15:22 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=208239 Originator: NO # [ 1695879 ] [ALL] Update MAXLEVEL class tag usage if ( !exists $line_ref->{'MAXLEVEL'} ) { ewarn(INFO, qq{No MAXLEVEL tag found for CLASS "$line_ref->{$column_with_no_tag{'CLASS'}[0]}[0]"}, $file_for_error, $line_for_error ); } Problem with this is that where I put it (additional special parsing) it reports the error for each CLASS line (at least 2, sometimes 4). Even pulling the reference way out ($column_with_no_tag) didn't stop that. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=750091&aid=1695879&group_id=25576 |
