First, change the permission of the folder where pcgen has been installed to FULL Access Right click on the folder - Properties Choose the Securities Tab Choose Everyone Click the EDIT Button Check the Full Control Box. Apply, Ok. Step 2: Use the pcgen.exe file For further troubleshooting tips, change the default location of the preferences (aka pcgen.ini file) to the pcgen folder. Other solutions: Change the location of where you install PCGen. Seems the Program Files section is more protected, if you install outside that location the issue should go away. For me, I have all the files outside the program files. Try those solutions and let me know if you have any further problems... Setting this to pending, means if we don't hear back from you, this tracker will automatically close. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=384720&aid=2868474&group_id=25576 |
