Category: Equipment List File Incorrect Information Group: None Status: Deleted Resolution: Invalid Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Per Christian Henden (perchrh) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: holy symbol should be resizable Initial Comment: A tiny cleric would not use a medium holy symbol. It is not listed in the SRD as specifically being resizable though, AFAIK ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Per Christian Henden (perchrh) Date: 2008-04-20 11:10 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=647606 Originator: YES Thanks. I'll have a look at Y! group ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Andrew McDougall (tir-gwaith) Date: 2008-04-20 03:09 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=208239 Originator: NO Yes, it does. Those are put on all RSRD objects that have Superscript "1" in Equipment.rtf, which states this: 1 These items weigh one-quarter this amount when made for Small characters. Containers for Small characters also carry one-quarter the normal amount. So, a Holy Symbol, for either a Medium or Small creature, weights the same amount, so there is no need to resize. When PCGen resizes, the weight adjustment stuff is always done. at this point, this tracker remainds invalid. If you'd like to join the discussion on pcgen_experimental Y! group, I'd love for more user ideas on how PCGen should correctly implement the rules and do what users expect it to. :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Per Christian Henden (perchrh) Date: 2008-04-20 00:28 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=647606 Originator: YES No, actually that worked, my test was wrong. Adding .RESIZABLE to the type of the item _is_ what governs the auto resize behavior. Sorry for being unclear. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Per Christian Henden (perchrh) Date: 2008-04-20 00:20 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=647606 Originator: YES Some items are resized automatically when I buy them and the 'automatically resize' option is enabled. I guessed the type RESIZABLE in GOODS.TOOLS.DIVINEFOCUS.RESIZABLE governed this behavior, but I think I'm wrong on that. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Andrew McDougall (tir-gwaith) Date: 2008-04-19 17:48 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=208239 Originator: NO What FReq are you asking for? a) certain items so NOT be resizable at all b) some items (nebulous as to definition that I can grok) should be automatically resizable I don't know what you want from the program. Can you expand on what you are seeing, and what you expect on pcg...@ya... ? This is a bit bigger than a few "bugs". ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Per Christian Henden (perchrh) Date: 2008-04-19 16:42 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=647606 Originator: YES Yes, that works. I didn't think about that. How about adding the RESIZABLE propert to make it automatically resized? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Andrew McDougall (tir-gwaith) Date: 2008-04-19 15:50 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=208239 Originator: NO Take Holy Symbol > create custom item, change size to Small.... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=750091&aid=1946614&group_id=25576 |
