Category: Feat Support Group: To be fixed For 5.10 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 8 Submitted By: Eddy Anthony (eddyanthony) >Assigned to: Eddy Anthony (eddyanthony) Summary: Hidden feats with parens are not applied via ADD:FEAT tag Initial Comment: If you have a hidden feat with parentheses in the name and add it to the PC with the ADD:FEAT tag (like in a class line) the feat will not be added though any choices in the feat will be presented. The feat I found this in is in the MSRD in a feat supporting the Techie (ironic), I've since changed the name and it now works. Here is one of the feats before the name change: Mastercraft (Mechanical) TYPE:MasterMechanical VISIBLE:NO PRECLASS:1,Techie=5 SA:Mastercraft (Mechanical) +%|MasterMechanical DEFINE:MasterMechanical|COUNT[FEATTYPE=MasterMechanical] STACK:YES MULT:YES CHOOSE:Mechanical SOURCEPAGE:msrdadvancedclasses.rtf Note: I also changed the define to 0 and added a bonus, this was wrong too but it was not what was preventing the feat from being added. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Andrew Wilson (nuance) Date: 2006-04-10 18:57 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=41667 Eddy, I don't see a problem with this. I think one of our other changes has fixed it. I added a hidden feat a name that includes parenthesis to a character, the feat was offered to be selected and the ADD:Feat tag it contained fired and added anoteher feat to the character. Both the hidden and the added feat are saved to the .pcg Test (one) TYPE:Test VISIBLE:NO ADD:FEAT(TYPE=Fighter) The hidden feat doesn't show up anywhere in output, but then - it's not supposed to. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Martijn Verburg (karianna) Date: 2005-12-05 14:28 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=252169 Hi darthsidious, any luck with this one? - K ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Martijn Verburg (karianna) Date: 2005-08-30 16:56 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=252169 Related to bug 1004071 - K ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=384719&aid=1178687&group_id=25576 |
