Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Reginald Blue (archastrel) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Change selling coins to auto at 100% Initial Comment: At present, and by default, when you sell coins, they sell at the same percentage as selling at item (e.g. usually 50%). It would be nice if coins would not follow the standard buy/sell rules, or at least if there were an option to make them not follow the normal buy sell rules. (Yes, one can change the sell % to 100%, sell the coins, then set it back to 50%, but...) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: SourceForge Robot (sf-robot) Date: 09/29/05 19:20 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1312539 This Tracker item was closed automatically by the system. I suppose, if items could be marked as (say) commodities then the pricing engine would allow them to be treated differently. i.e. allow two sell % values. One for commodities and one for non-commodities and then the engine would pick the % based on the item's type. Coins would be commodities, and trade goods, and, by default, gems could, but if someone wanted them different, merely changing the lst files would change the behavior. It would also allow a user to create new items that are "trade goods" for their world. (10 bars of gold pressed latinum, frex). Just my humble opinion. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Reed Thornton (rthornton13) Date: 05/26/04 07:56 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1001978 Actually, trade goods should be handled this way as well. Gems are... unclear as to whether they should be handled the same.
