Hi Rob, thanks for the information, but unfortunately no ini file appears, not even the folder.
I downloaded PC-BASIC 1.2.14, I clicked on the DMG file which opened a folder on the desktop with PC-Basic inside. I copied PC-BASIC to the desktop. I tried to run some .BAS programs that are located in the Users \ eziopagliarino folder and run punctually. I have not found any .INI file in any folder and it tells me that it does not even find the folder (as per the attached image).

  I think you have spaces before and after the / symbols which wouldn't work. There should be no spaces around the slashes (/)

    Also the folder name is pcbasic-1.2, in one of the screens you just have pcbasic

Hello Rob, it finally works with the details on the spaces you have given me. I no longer have the limitation of open files. Really excellent, thanks again for your tips.
