Hi Rob, thanks for the information, but unfortunately no ini file appears, not even the folder.
I downloaded PC-BASIC 1.2.14, I clicked on the DMG file which opened a folder on the desktop with PC-Basic inside. I copied PC-BASIC to the desktop. I tried to run some .BAS programs that are located in the Users \ eziopagliarino folder and run punctually. I have not found any .INI file in any folder and it tells me that it does not even find the folder (as per the attached image).
Hello Rob, it finally works with the details on the spaces you have given me. I no longer have the limitation of open files. Really excellent, thanks again for your tips.

I think you have spaces before and after the
/
symbols which wouldn't work. There should be no spaces around the slashes (/
)Also the folder name is
pcbasic-1.2
, in one of the screens you just havepcbasic
