Infinite New1 - 2021-07-17

I did essentially what you told except that I used an uninstaller software that get rid of the leftovers instead of doing it myself (kind of lazy today) and rebooted... Then reinstalled 1.3.3.2. I'm okay since (did some reboots to make sure).

        Yes the minimized checkbox isn't there anymore. For me, it kept the setting somewhere so it's still working for me (minimized at start).

I cannot seem to fully launch the new 2.0.0.2 version where the EQ appears open on my desktop. It's like it starts to open and then disappears while still possibly running in the background. I open the task mgr. and it doesn't show that it is running. I did a full uninstall and reinstall with no different results. It worked fine yesterday after initially installing. Help Please?!!

    Yes, as noted I did an uninstall/reinstall. That wasn't the issue. The problem was that the minimize to system tray on startup/close was checked. Then the minimized app was hiding behind an arrow in the bottom right corner of my tray.

To share my learned knowledge. Before installing, the RAR file must be unzipped or extracted to get the application file that's to be installed. For some reason, my PC did not have extraction software to unzip the files within. I d/l WINRAR software to fix this and then proceeded to install the correct application file.

Bilal, Attempting to install new version 2.0.0.6, but am unable to locate uninstall.exe file for 2.0.0.5 or identify this "PCEqualizer" within the add/remove programs application. In other words, I can't install new version because I'm unable to uninstall old version. Help please.

  Instructions on how to update the program from version "2.0.0.5" to "2.0.0.6.":
  1. Find the current version: If you're unsure where the current copy is located, simply right-click on program icon and select
  "Open File Location." The file should be in a folder named "PC Equalizer Paid."
  2. Extract the new file: Unzip the file "PCEqualizer_2.0.0.6.rar" using software like WinRAR, WinZip, or 7-Zip.
  3. Inside the compressed file, you will find the following items:
  • Folder: "PC Equalizer Paid"
  • File: "EqualizerAPO64-1.2.1.exe"
  • File: "Instructions.txt"
  4. Ensure that the program is completely closed. Go to the system tray, locate the program icon, right-click on it, and select "Exit."
  5. Copy and paste the new "PC Equalizer Paid" folder into the location mentioned in step 1. When prompted, choose to merge folders and
  replace files.
  6. Congratulations! The new version is now ready to use.
  
  Optional step:
  If you wish to update "Equalizer APO," simply double-click on "EqualizerAPO64-1.2.1.exe" and follow the installation

    desktop PC it reverts back to the prior 2.0.0.5 version. I can still get
    2.0.0.6 to open by going to the "PC EQ Paid" folder and opening the
    application file and re-entering the license key. However I like being
    able to use both versions as I'm preferring the echo effects version
    2.0.0.5, but I'll see if that changes. Thank you for the timely response
    to my inquiry. Overall, I find your PC-EQ application to be essential to
