#1 Video Drivers for Laptops Dell 5100

Hi

I have got 50 x Dell latitude 5100 which I would like to image with PBA however when I boot off the PBA.iso rescue cd my screen goes blank, after the first few lines or Linux boot info, it completed the boot process ok, I just cant see anything.

I have tried the same disk on other computers and it works fine so I think it is a vga driver issue.

I plan to carry on using PBA at the school with the other 150 computers.

You can tell I really want this to work, :) correction it's a Dell INSPIRON 5100 ( I have 50 to image) and the message I am getting as follows.

No-DDC Laptop panel detected

it goes blank but the pba-client.iso continues to boot without the visual.

what version of client are you using? you can also try the slax based cd.
