I use Pauker on an older computer (WinXP, all updates, 1.7 Pentium M, 512M RAM). I have tried 1.9 Beta 1, and whenever I save a file, I get an error, saying that the old file could not be mved to the new one (that's your new safety feature kicking in, apparently). If I choose "save" again, it works.

Thank you for reporting this bug. It only occurred on Windows, never on Linux (my main development platform). The bug should be fixed in v1.9Beta2.
