PatchAnim v1.2.0 released

PatchAnim, a tool for generating animated blends based on bezier surface patches, has released version 1.2.0.

Version 1.2.0 adds the ability to control transparency in the blends.

PatchAnim uses three bezier patches to represent color input for red, green and blue sources of a animated bitmap. Animations can be exported as Animated Gifs, Pngs and Mngs; and can also be exported as a series of Gifs, Pngs and Jpegs.
Two to ninth order patches can be selected, and a variety of patch transformation tools are available to ease the creating of pleasing visual effects. Patches can be reordered, cloned; and then settings are available to specify the number of tweened images, the way animation repeats, and the way colors that fall outside the 0 - 255 range of values are handled.

PatchAnim file i/o is done using xml files.

A Webstart version of the program can be accessed at http://patchanim.sourceforge.net/jnlp/patchanim.jnlp
