PatchAnim v1.3.0 release

PatchAnim, a tool for generating animated blends based on bezier surface patches, has released version 1.3.0.

Version 1.3.0 adds the ability to control how one patch tweens into another patch. Algorithms include: Linear, Accelerating, Decelerating, Ease In/Ease Out, Accelerate In/Accelerate Out and Wave.

PatchAnim uses three bezier patches to represent color input for red, green and blue sources of a animated bitmap. In addition, a patch is optionally available to control transparency. Animations can be exported as Animated Gifs, Pngs and Mngs; and can also be exported as a series of Gifs, Pngs and Jpegs.
Two to ninth order patches can be selected, and a variety of patch transformation tools are available to ease the creating of pleasing visual effects. Patches can be reordered, cloned; and then settings are available to specify the number of tweened images, the way animation repeats, and the way colors that fall outside the 0 - 255 range of values are handled. ... read more

PatchAnim v0.6.0 released

PatchAnim, a tool for generating animated blends based on bezier surface patches, has released v0.6.0. Added in this release is the ability to export to Animated Pngs and Animated Mngs.

PatchAnim v0.4.0 released

PatchAnim, a tool for generating animated blends based on bezier surface patches, has released v0.4.0. This version, switches file io to xml. Provides alot more controls over editing control points, allows for editing and reordering of patches, improves performance, and fixes a bunch of bugs. PatchAnim v0.2.0 released

PatchAnim, a java tool for generating animated blends based on bezier surface patch descriptions, has released version 0.2.0, an alpha release. The basic functionality works, although there are plenty or rough edges. See http:://patchanim.sourceforge.net for information.
