There is an issue with the login page flow that will crash Safari reproducibly. Attempt to login, if it fails and the correct login is then attempted, Safari will crash. This issue was resolved in other cases (perhaps even this is a regression?) by adjusting how the AJAX pages get returned, such that there is no layout.

Have not been able to reproduce the Safari crash. Perhaps previous fixes and updates have solved the problem?
