Hi Password Safe developers,
may I ask for a little tweak, that might be benefitial not only for me? Sometimes a site or device needs more than one password. In this case, I put the additional secondary passwords or licence keys or whatever into the notes field of Password Safe to have them ready when needed.
However, if I have several words in one line that are seperated by blanks, a double click onto a word will not only highlight the word but the blank as well. I use it to put the selected password into the clipboard - but without further action also the blank ends to be there.
Wouldn't it be possible to change the behaviour, to allow a double click to highlight the word only without the following blank?
This would be great...
Thanks in advance & many regards

... just noticed, that I put this into the support section instead of feature request - but I have not the rights to delete this ticket here - sorry ...
If you put the put the secondary passwords on separate lines in the Notes field, there is no blank to be selected when they are double clicked.
PS. We do not do anything special when double clicking on a word in an edit field. If it selects the blank, it must be standard Windows behaviour. That is not to say that we can't trim trailing blanks in a future release as long as current users aren't adversely affected (I doubt that they would be).
Hi DrK,
thanks for providing such a quick answer. And yes, I must admit that
your solution will work as well.
So if one day the trim of trailing blanks would be integrated - great.
And if not I will help myself.
Thanks again for spending your time in developing such a cool and
important tool as well as wrinting emails on this.

#463Sorry - I forgot to update this SR but I have implemented your change in commit 500da55 on 19/02 and it will be int the next release.
Note: Microsoft seem to do this (include the trailing space) in their other products - i.e. just try double clicking a word in the middle of a sentence in MS Word.
Hi DrK, you will find a big grin in my face - many thanks for fixing this!!! MK
